I feel a little sad today…

In Australia today it has been a National Holiday – Anzac Day.

Rosemary – sprigs of Rosemary are commonly worn as a sign of remembrance on Anzac Day

Can’t help in my human, yet-to-be-perfected-in-Spirit, self feeling just a bit down and sad at the thought of so much loss of what could have been exceptional lives had they been fortunate enough not to be born in a world where war is the ultimate answer to our differences.

After two ‘wars to end all wars’ we still have not learned – our leaders still send others to die for long outdated principles, dressing it up as ‘Freedom’, or ‘Patriotism’ to make us believe it is necessary and give them our support and lives all wars need to continue. While they sit back, removed from and unaccountable for the losses, and gaining power and money in the process.

Lest we Forget?
